One of the byproducts of working on Judas Kiss was becoming friends with a lot of the production crew -some who've relocated here in LA- and some of the actors. Since we wrapped production on the film over two years ago, Richard Harmon has remained in contact with most of us. Being a long-time friend of director J.T. Tepnapa has also helped, along with producer Jody Wheeler.
Richard was in town last week to record commentary with co-star Julia Morizawa for the Blu Ray version of Judas Kiss (which also include a new commentary with Sean Lockhart, director Tepnapa and producer, Jody Wheeler), which is due out on November 20, and I got to see him with other friends at dinner, where I learned he has joined the cast of A&E's Psycho prequel series The Bates Motel.
I had posted just a few days earlier that Lost's Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogle had joined in recurring roles as well on the Carlton Cuse produced series that stars Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga as Norman and Norma Bates. so I thought that was weird.
Anyways, when I saw Richard, he agreed to an interview with me. So in the near future we'll have him talk about The Bates Motel, plus his role on the popular Canadian based sci fi show Continuum (which will air on Syfy starting in January) and other things that come to mind.
